This nourishing blueberry-maca -ginger drink is perfect for a pre-workout or post-workout when you might be feeling a little sluggish. It’s loaded with antioxidants.

Makes 2 cups

INGREDIENTS

1 cup blueberries

½ cup water

2 tablespoon maca powder

1 tablespoon Spirulina powder

2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice to taste

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

Pinch of cayenne pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

In a blender, purée all the ingredients until very smooth and only tiny flecks of blueberry skin remain.

Drink immediately.
